When the war was over and the demobilized soldiers were returning, Yujiro was waiting for his brother Kentaro, who was detained in Siberia, to return while massaging. Kentaro liked a woman named Kayoko (Iroha Narimiya), but Kayoko married another man and that man also died in the war, so Kayoko became a widow. One day, a demobilized soldier comes to Yujiro's house and reports Kentaro's death. Yujiro, who had a passion for Kayoko, makes a decision.
